Daniel Broncano, the famous clarinettist from Orcera

Time & Leisure magazine from the U.K has reviewed Daniel´s concert in London. He shows a lot of promise in playing the clarinet and we´re very proud of him, congratulations Daniel!!!
We've taken the following review out of Time and Leisure website, you can visit the original one by clicking on this link

Mozart, Spain & Scotland

Daniel Broncano, a young Spanish clarinettist already making a name for himself on the international circuit, is soloist in Mozart’s ever popular concerto as the centrepiece of the Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra’s concert in aid of Macmillan Cancer support in St Paul’s Church on Saturday, January 28 at 7.30pm.
Daniel, 25, took up the clarinet at the age of 10 simply because the local wind band in Spain already had enough oboes – the instrument he really wanted to play! It was a good decision. He learned very quickly and went on to study at Conservatoires in Madrid and Paris before coming to England where he has combined a Masters degree at Trinity Laban with teaching, recording and performing across Europe. Now pursuing an Artist’s Diploma at the Royal College of Music, he has already built a growing reputation as a chamber musician. He plays the familiar concertos of Weber, Spohr, Rossini, Nielsen and Copland, but also champions contemporary composers. He gave the world premiere of Jesus Aranda’sJekyll’s Confession for solo clarinet.
He reckons his really big breakthrough, though, came with the winning last year of a Making Music Young Concert Artists Award. ‘It has meant I am getting many engagements and it is creating a lot more opportunities for me’, says Daniel gratefully. Now backed by the Philip and Dorothy Green Trust, Making Music has launched the careers of many musicians since its inception in 1961.
‘I am delighted to be coming to play with the Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra and I’m looking forward very much to playing the Mozart concerto’, says Daniel who makes a promise: ‘I will make it come to life – and be refreshing.  Not everyone does; sometimes it is too weighty’.  It will be worth coming to find out.
The rest of a particularly appealing concert is Mendelssohn with a Scottish flavour - Daniel’s Mozart is ‘sandwiched’ between The Hebrides Overture and Scottish Symphony. The WSO is conducted as usual by their Music Director, Robin Browning.
